Software

Why should I use reference management software?

Reference management software can make your life significantly easier when you’re writing academic papers. It assists you in…

  • … managing the references you need for your paper
  • … creating bibliographies in different citation styles (e.g., for a proposal)
  • … inserting citations and bibliographies directly into word processing software (e.g. MS Word)

Which software is available at WU?

WU provides licences for the reference management software Citavi and EndNote, making it available to all WU students, faculty, and staff free of charge. The WU library staff is happy to assist you with any questions you might have about Citavi and EndNote, as well as the open-source software Zotero and Juris-M.
