The law textbook collection is your one-stop resource (or: central point of contact) for everything related to studying law at WU.
You’ll find it in the Library for Law (D3), right next to the front desk.

What can you expect there?
- Multiple copies of all major legal textbooks
- Notes on the shelf indicating whether a title is also available as an eBook
- Many titles are also available in digital format
Codices/Legal Texts
Codices contain the unadorned text of one or more laws in their current, consolidated version (i.e., including all previous amendments). There are also other editions of laws used in academic study and legal practice (Flexlex, law editions published by Verlag Österreich). Codices from all major fields of study are available for loan in the law textbook collection in the Library for Law. Many students also purchase their own codices so they can add colored markings and notes. Such markings in library codices render the copy unusable for other users (and also for exams) and should therefore be avoided in the spirit of solidarity.
