{"id":2112,"date":"2023-09-08T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-08T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/library.wu.ac.at\/bib\/fit4research\/?page_id=2112"},"modified":"2024-09-13T14:42:01","modified_gmt":"2024-09-13T12:42:01","slug":"level-4-news-lounge-for-daily-newspapers-and-business-magazines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/library.wu.ac.at\/bib\/fit4research\/index.php\/en\/fit4research-english\/accessing-literature\/orientation-in-the-university-library\/level-4-news-lounge-for-daily-newspapers-and-business-magazines\/","title":{"rendered":"Level 4: News lounge &amp; Chill-Out Area"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wu.ac.at\/en\/library\/finding-literature\/journals-directories\/newspapers-magazines\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.wu.ac.at\/en\/library\/finding-literature\/journals-directories\/newspapers-magazines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">News Lounge<\/a> on level 4 of the Central Library, you have access to current issues of many daily newspapers and business magazines, as well as the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pressreader.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.pressreader.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">PressReader terminal<\/a>, where over 4,000 daily newspapers are available online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current professional journals, as well as past issues of magazines and newspapers, are located on <a href=\"https:\/\/library.wu.ac.at\/bib\/fit4research\/index.php\/en\/accessing-literature\/orientation-in-the-university-library\/level-2-older-books-and-periodicals-wu-theses-reference-works\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/library.wu.ac.at\/bib\/fit4research\/index.php\/en\/accessing-literature\/orientation-in-the-university-library\/level-2-older-books-and-periodicals-wu-theses-reference-works\/\">level -2<\/a> in bound editions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Magazines and newspapers cannot be checked out, but excerpts of them can be scanned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On level 4, you will also find ample space for collaborative work. In addition to multiple project rooms, the group work area is particularly noteworthy: here, you can customize your workspace with mobile tables to suit your group&#8217;s individual needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once it&#8217;s time for a well-deserved study break, you&#8217;ll find the communicative zone and the chill-out area on level 4 as well. In the communicative zone, you can eat, drink, and socialize.
